AI answer engines parse structured data the same way search engines do. When you mark up a FAQ section with FAQPage schema, or a how-to guide with HowTo schema, you give AI crawlers structured, machine-readable content they can extract and cite accurately.             Does schema markup directly improve rankings?
            
Not directly. Schema does not boost keyword rankings. But it enables rich results (FAQ dropdowns, star ratings, how-to steps) which improve click-through rates significantly. Higher CTR leads to more traffic and improved rankings over time.

          

                  

            Which schema type should I add first?
            
For a blog: start with Article schema on every post. For any page with a FAQ section: add FAQPage schema - it is the easiest type to implement and has the most visible SERP impact. For local businesses: LocalBusiness is essential.

          

                  

            Where do I paste the generated schema?
